17 April: A Police personnel was killed while another was injured during an attack carried out by armed motorcyclists in Manghopir area of Karachi.
On 17 April 2026, an armed clash was reported between armed motorcyclists and Police personnel in Manghopir area in an attack carried out by the latter. During the exchange of fire, Police personnel Khadim Ali Shah was killed while another personnel was injured. The banned terrorist group, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the attack.
