Local authorities confirmed that a Russian missile strike on the city of Dnipro killed 5 people and injured 27 more, The Kyiv Independent reported.
An explosion was heard in the city at around 11:30 AM local time, as the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a missile heading towards the central-eastern city of Dnipro.
As of 1:56 PM, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Oleksandr Hanzha confirmed that 21 people had been hospitalized including 10 in critical condition.
