Seven BLA militants and three Police personnel were killed while eight Police personnel and four BLA militants were injured during multiple separate exchanges of fire between security forces personnel and BLA militants throughout Balochistan in the districts of Mastung, Khuzdar and Kech. A BLA militant was also arrested during one of the clashes that erupted.
A clash occurred on Sunday, 19 April, when a violent exchange of fire erupted between Police personnel and armed BLA militants in the Dasht Kambela area of the district of Mastung. During the fire exchange, a Police constable identified as Rehmat Khan was killed — reported by Dawn — and six other Police personnel were injured. Three BLA militants were also killed while another militant was arrested during the clash as Police personnel returned fire against the terrorists, Black Dove (@Info_Balochistn) reported on X.
A separate incident occurred on the night of Saturday, 18 April, in the Sheikh Wasil area of Mastung District when a group of Police personnel came under attack from BLA militants. Police personnel responded promptly and exchanged retaliatory fire, due to which two BLA militants were killed. The bodies of the deceased militants were taken to the civil hospital in Quetta, Dawn reports.
Separately, an exchange of fire erupted on Sunday when BLA militants attacked Police personnel in the Bajoi Khandozai area of the Baghbana Tehsil in Khuzdar District. The attack resulted in the deaths of two Police constables — Lady Constable Malik Naz and Constable Sami Ullah — while two other Police personnel — Additional Station House Officer (SHO) Ibrahim Sheikh and policeman Najeebullah — were injured in the terrorist attack. Constable Malik Naz was the first woman Police official to be martyred in the line of duty against terrorists.

A separate exchange of fire occurred on Saturday when security forces conducted a counter-terrorism operation in the Nawanu area of Buleda Tehsil in the district of Kech, War Analyst (@War_Analysts) reported on X. The operation left two BLA militants killed and another four militants injured. According to security officials, the deceased militants were involved in extorting money from local residents. The militants were linked to incidents of burning vehicles, an act they would commit when their demands would not be met.
