Separately on the night of Thursday, Taliban militants used explosives to blow up the Police post in the Kamar Sar area of Mamund Tehsil in Bajaur District. On Friday, 24 April, two people, including a child, were killed in a firing incident in the Landi Kotal Tehsil of Khyber District. On Saturday, 25 April, unknown armed assailants — likely Taliban militants — opened fire on a Police vehicle in the Rashakai area of Khar Tehsil in Bajaur District. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, though terrorists affiliated with the Taliban as well as terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State – Khorasan Province (ISKP) — also known as Daesh — have been repeatedly carrying out targeted attacks against civilians in the province. On Sunday, 26 April, armed motorcycle-borne militants affiliated with the Taliban opened fire on a Police official in the Shadiu Khas area of Miryan Tehsil in Bannu District. On Tuesday, 28 April, terrorists affiliated with the Taliban abducted a jail Police officer named Siddiqullah Khan in the morning near Ahmad Khel Adda in Lakki Marwat District. The militants later killed Siddiqullah Khan, and his body was found near Ahmad Khel. The deceased victim was a resident of Abdul Khel who was posted to Karak District, as reported by @khantainer on X.
Separately on the same day, Taliban militants abducted dozens of locals — at least 24, based on visual evidence — in the Lindiwah village in Domel Tehsil of Bannu District.
