On Monday, 1 June, a highly-wanted suspected militant believed to be affiliated with banned terrorist group Sindhudesh Liberation Army (SLA) was arrested by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) during an operation conducted in Jamshoro District. A pistol and two hand grenades were seized by authorities from the suspect, as reported by The STRATCOM Bureau (@OSPSF) on X.
Meanwhile on Friday, 5 June, a gas pipeline was blown by suspected militants — likely affiliated with the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) — in Shikarpur District, as reported by Bambaaj (@PARASF007) on X. Militants affiliated with the BRG have repeatedly carried out terrorist attacks targeting gas pipelines and railway tracks in the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan.
