Separate incidents in Afghanistan resulted in the deaths of two militants affiliated with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) — also known as the Pakistani Taliban, or simply mentioned as the Taliban — and one militant affiliated with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

On Monday, 20 April, a top commander of BLA was reported to have been seriously injured in an apparent drone strike in the province of Nimruz. It is unknown whether the injured, identified as Mehran Lashari, was rushed to hospital, but it was reported that he later succumbed to his injuries. Mehran Lashari was a top commander of the banned terrorist group BLA, and was a close associate of the group’s head, Bashir Zeb. On Thursday, 23 April, two TTP militants affiliated with the Tipu Gul Marwat group of the TTP were killed in a road accident in Ghazni Province. The deceased militants were identified as Israr (also known as Sangari) and Nek Muhammad (also known as Muhammad). Both deceased militants were residents of Tajazai in the district of Lakki Marwat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This incident was reported by War Analyst (@War_Analysts) on X.
