Security forces conducted a successful operation in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during which 3 TTP militants were killed.
On 17 April 2026, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the village of Rohri in Kulachi Tehsil, Dera Ismail Khan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the operation, 3 militants affiliated with the Zarrar Gandapur group of TTP were killed. One of the deceased militants was identified as Najibullah, while the identities of the remaining militants are underway. Following the operation, security forces conducted a thorough clearance of the area.
On the night of 15/16 April, militants belonging to BLA, or as the government terms “FAH” (Fitna al Hindustan), attacked a Frontier Corps Balochistan (North) post in Kuchlak area of Quetta District, Balochistan. Security forces personnel reacted promptly and engaged the attacking militants. During the ensuing exchange of fire, 2 BLA militants were killed, with authorities seizing weapons and ammunition from the deceased militants.
The pursuit of the remaining militants is reportedly ongoing.
